Aftercare

Required items for healing:

1. Dial Anti Bacterial Soap in the PUMP

No bar soap ever. The bars of soap and jars of ointment retain bacteria and that risks infection which we don’t want at all

2. The TUBE of Aquaphor ointment

No jars of ointment ever. NO VASELINE OR BACETRACIN OR ANY PRODUCTS LIKE THAT. MUST BE AQUAPHOR

Once your tattoo is bandaged, you should go and get these two items if you don’t already have at your local store

Healing / Aftercare Process

Once you get home, you take off the plastic bandage and with clean hands, you will wash your new tattoo, make sure to lather the area nicely and get it all soapy. Then rinse off the soap with some luke warm water, not too hot! After that you will pat the tattoo dry with a new clean paper towel, no bath towels! OR you can let it air dry if you have the time. Once dried, you will wash your hands again with the anti bacterial soap and with the TUBE of Aquaphor ointment you will LIGHTLY cover the new tattoo in a THIN layer of the ointment. For reference I say squirt out a “dimes” worth or a “rain droplet” onto your clean finger and rub that in, if more ointment is needed then use another “dimes” worth or “rain droplet” until the tattoo is covered in a THIN layer. Overuse of the ointment can result in infection because it can clog pores. If you think you used too much ointment then pat the area lightly with another clean paper towel.

You must do this process 2-3 TIMES A DAY for an ENTIRE TWO WEEKS
